Can anybody recommend a good, reasonably priced portable printer that I can use via bluetooth with my samsung galaxy tablet? Is there such a thing?

What do you mean by "portable"?

I mean pack it up and carry it around on a daily basis.

We used to carry some at the test equipment rental outfit I worked for some years ago, and the outfit I was working for before I got sick had some....but in both cases those were/are thermal printers. I would imagine you'd be interested in somekindof ink-jet thingy.

That's a good question, but I don't have a real answer for ya. Have you checked HP's website? To me, they have the best personal printers on the market.

I have a HP personal printer and it works like a hose. I've carried that thing all over the world with me on my travels and it travels well too. Just always carry an extra ink cartridge with you. They always seem to poop out at the wrong time.

What do those airport rental car places use? Would something like that work? you haven't said what you are actually printing. I use mine for photos only.

Ah. then the HP I have wouldn't do ya. I will shut up and listen from here on out.

I've got a couple. HP470 and aHP100. They're great, the battery last a long time between charges and the newer versions come bluetooth ready. Print at around 22 pages a minute. I print contracts in peoples homes daily with it.

Those look like the deal for me. Thanks Chad.
