After 918 invites, I made a game day decision to attend the annual ‘Doah float trip and IT convention.
What a great time, cannot wait for next year when I’m more prepared!
Eric pulled through in the clutch and provided a tent, bag, and sleeping pad, and Len ensured my dietary needs were met.
Fishing was hard.
Drinking was harder.
Night temps were mid 30’s, so thank God for Buddy Heaters!
Can’t wait until next year, I’m a definite “Yes” after this experience.
Len just happened to have a quart of the best untaxed liquor ever created.... ‘wildaberry’, and he made a very honorable, funny, and heartfelt toast to our favorite apey friend, Cappy. We told stories about his hick ass around the fire. He’d have laughed at all of them.
Thanks again to E and Len for carrying me. Next year I’ll do better! I won’t miss this as long as the good Lord gives me the ability to go. That was fun. Just plain ole non fish catching fun!
