Dang it!

I went out to take an eBay package to FedEx this morning, only to find the battery dead in my truck. Oh well, it could'a been worse, at least I'm at home and have Lynn's car to use. Florida's heat is rough on batteries and this is the original factory battery, so I was due. I'm always told to expect 3-5 years out of a battery and this one will be 5 years old next month, so I guess I got all the goody out of it. It appears a trip to Wally World is in my immediate future. :crybaby

From experience though never fun, it is MUCH better to find out you have a dead battery in the middle of summer than it is in the winter during a blizzard when temps are negative 20.

Ha! I seriously doubt I’ll have to worry about that happening Bwana. We did have a cold wave roll in last night and it got down to the high 60’s. That’s prolly what killed it. It was a shock to the system! 😉

My truck is a ‘14 and I’m still on the original battery. Some time between now and winter I’m gonna go ahead and replace it.
