Sat last night in a blind but other than the bald eagle sitting above us, nothing to show for opening day of the ND rifle season.

Out with the wife right now in a different place hoping her luck will change. Have a few birds to watch while we wait. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20201107/d204a7bb699657d637e78a7e21a01bf1.jpg

Deer or no deer, just being out there is worth it. Hope you guys get a big'un!

No venison for us as of yet.

The night before I brought my bow along in case a buck came in, my wife has a doe tag, but they didn't come in until after shooting time. This night I chose to not bring my bow so we could concentrate on getting my wife a doe. Had a little buck walk by the blind at less that 10 yards. DOH!

Heading out Wednesday with my daughter to see if we can find a couple of does for us. Fingers crossed.

Keep us informed.

I’ve got a broken arm and doubt it will be healed up enough for me to get to do any deer hunting this season.

Broken arm? ...Ouch!....What happened Dog?

Wrecked my police truck. No exciting story to go along with it, I just screwed up. The seat belt did more damage to me and hurt worse than the arm.

This is what my chest looked like from the seatbelt a week after the wreck. Had matching bruises across my hips from the lap belt.

Great nipples

That’s what Len said earlier, thought I’d pass it along. It seemed weird but you know Len!

Damn! Glad you weren’t seriously hurt! Some people will do anything to get a new company vehicle.

That’s the kicker. The one I wrecked was a 2019 Ram. I had it issued to me brand new. Now I got kicked back to the 2014 Ram that I had turned in for the new one. If I’m lucky I’ll get a 2021 when the insurance pays off on it. (As long as I don’t piss off my boss and they want to screw with me and make me keep the old one).

Ddog, I think you gotta black-legged deer tick under your tittie. ;)

Seriously, I'm glad you're okay, and healing.

You think that's ugly, you should see his face after the airbag hit him. He was ALREADY fugly to begin with! :poke

Typical Good Hunting thread. It starts out as Bwana's hunting trip report and somehow ends up with Deppity's titties! :slaphead

Either that or he may want to have a dermatologist check that thing out!

Glad you’ll be okay in the long run, DD.

I was wondering if any of that was because of airbags.

I consider us very lucky he didn’t post the pics of his lap belt bruises.

That "tick" almost looks like a blood blister .... or an "African-American" ladybug! ;)

If you squint when you look at it, you can see the Shroud of Turin image in the bruise.

Well I am Catholic. [emoji16]

All that is seat belt related.

That spot that you’re all concerned about is like a blood blister but that’s not what it is. Not sure what it’s called but the dermatologist said it’s nothing to worry about and that they won’t do anything with it would bleed like the proverbial stuck pig.

I’m touched by your concern.

I’m immune to ticks. When they get on me, they just swell up and fall off after a week or so.
