Nice, but I’m on the fence with retro-mods. For a driver, it’s definitely the way to go, but I have mixed emotions on taking a classic and altering it to the point it’ll never be stock again. But what the heck, if it’s not matching numbers, why not go for it?

My personal dream ‘Vette is a ‘63 split window.

I still like fat tires too. Those run flats don’t do it for me.

I guess it depends on what you mean by “fat”. The run-flats on my ‘98 ‘Vette were 18” wide from the factory. I learned the hard way it couldn’t go through an automatic carwash. (Tires wouldn’t fit between the guide rails). :(
