It's a good thing my Mrs. only goes out of town with the girls once a year 'cause the man cubs and I would eat ourselves into an early grave. Last night it was brauts and baked taters. Tonight it was steak and eggs, home fries and biscuits. I'm taking suggestions for tomorrow, but I think I'm going to have to get my BGE on.

On a semi-related note, I got to watch the Wolfpack win a squeaker in OT and now the Terpsichore are looking good against Dook.

I had a pile of crappie thawed for Mama's birthday party, so I had to go ahead and cook it. I called my cousins and they came and we ate most of it. I could see the cork go under every time they ate a piece of it, and boy it hurts to see that fish go 'gulp', but hey......trying to be nice to folks. Mother was still in hospital but we ate without her, and took her a plate.......which she ate every single bite of!!!

I give up on looking good again. I just need to sweet talk 8 folks into being my friends instead of 6..........
