Friday was the last day of Canada Goose season.
Spent the early evening cleaning shot guns, and slug guns for Luke and I. Put the waders away. sorted through blind bags, and put shells back in boxes, and or bandoleers of shot size, and make sure Luke's 20 guage shells are all in his bag. Put some epoxy on a decoy that needed fixing. Put stuff in proper backpacks, and sorted duck and deer clothing..... hung the arrows up where they belong.
Cleared out some room in the garage for the new decoys I bought on clearance, and sold 2 dozen older ones to some kids at school- getting them into duck hunting!
Cleaned the calls, and gathered all hats and stray gloves from the truck....
Next weekend- vaccum the seats in the truck, and clean the floor and vinyl.
Digging out the tennis rackets for girls' season to begin.
Been conditioning since Christmas break ended: lost 3 more pounds and over 3 inches off waist. Serious 6 pack showing up!
On to the next thing.
Looks like I will be getting the slug gun back out on Spring Break. An ara in southern IN has wild hogs now. I am taking Luke down to shoot a few it looks like.
