I was reading where the avg American male is 5'9" and 198 lbs.(2.86 lbs per inch) The avg American woman is 5'4" and 170 lbs. (2.65 lbs per inch)

That makes me a little bigger than avg at 5'10" and 245 and my wife a lot smaller at 5'1" and 95 lbs

Can I wait until spring comes and get a do-over? :p

I'm 6'2" and 255. I've been there for a while now but am looking to thin down this year. I'm thinking I'm just a bit old to carry that kind of weight going forward. I'd like to be 230 by summer's end.

TBH, going by those figures, I'd look like Skeletor! I'm 6'2" and before going into the hospital, I was 275-280-lbs. and in the best shape I've been in for many years. I was eating right and exercising almost daily before hitting the sack. Once I entered the hospital, 2-months in bed in ICU (2 weeks of that in a coma "eating" through an IV), I came out at 218-lbs (lost 62-lbs), and looked like a bag of bones with a pile of skin draped over me! According to the above "average", I should weigh less than 212. WTF? Sumpin' don't add up. 'Course, my mom always told me I'm "big-boned" which adds weight, but I have no clue if that even exists.

'Course, with no way to exercise these days with a totally fubar'ed back, (except for VERY short walks) and sitting at a computer most of the day, I'm a frigging fat slob now and bounce around between 295 and 298 ... and that's mostly a spare tire, better known as ugly belly fat. But to say I "should" weigh in at 211-212-lbs? You'd hear my bones rattling when I walk! I'm real comfortable and look pretty decent (NO COMMENT) at around 230-235 and really wouldn't mind getting back down to that some day, although I'd be real happy at around 250 I think.

Well, I guess that would be a GOOD thing at just shy of 300! Wouldn't wanna be a pinhead! ;)

Those of us with massive brains, need a skosh more room.

6'5" & 255, always again about 10 lbs over the Holidays, most will come off before summer.
Out of HS I was 205, when I went to Bootcamp the put me on a restrictive diet, said I was over weight and wanted me under 200.
