Highs in the mid-80's here, but I just got off the phone with my sis in Houston and they were bringing their potted plants into their garage preparing for freezing temps this weekend. She said it's supposed to be down to 18-degrees by Monday! WTF?

The high temperature for here tomorrow is a whopping 9 below zero with overnight temp of 27 below. They are saying the windchills are going to be downright cold.

Its been stuck on 19 here at my house for the last few days. And with the brisk north winds we’re actually getting lake effect snows from Oolagah reservoir about 20 miles north of here.
My huskies have been outside all day every day except forcoming insideto beg forfoodand for a walk.

6-10” forecastedfor us Sunday-Monday. I’m happy as a husky seeing real winter come back for a time. We need it here.

I don't even like looking at snow on television. I like warm sunny days with just a slight ripple on the water

I haven’t minded the temps we’ve been having. I can deal with mid 20’s. The nice part about it is that the snow is staying for a change. We’ve got a pretty decent snow cover finally. We have had a couple of days when we got 3-5 inches and then another couple batches of snow about an inch at a time.

Reminds me of when I was a kid and the snow usually stayed all winter and continued to accumulate. We’ve actually got decent ice on the lakes too.

You know it’s been a snowy winter when the shopping centers have to get dump trucks to haul the snow away because the piles are taking up too much of the parking lots.
