I THINK you were the gent who shared the recipe for cajun style pickles waaaay back when, but wanted to let you know the recipe gets ALOT of use at my house. Matter of fact, just last night I made two one-gallon batches of them for my daughters graduation party to be held in late May. They will go nicely with the 80 pounds of pork butts I smoked for the occasion.

I've tweaked the recipe a bit, but our family REALLY likes them!

Again, thanks for sharing.

I guess that’s becoming a tradition around your place Bwana. Seven years ago you made a batch for your SON’S graduation!

You need to share that recipe again!

Well, I don't know if it's the same one you're thinking of, but CD posted this one years ago. It's not persactly "cajun". (it should expand when you click on it)

That is NOT the recipe but it looks good too.

I will try to remember to take a picture of the recipe and post it here.

That was posted by CD quite a few years back. It was actually his mom's pickle recipe, but he used it to make pickled eggs. I'm a big fan of pickled eggs and am always making my own batches, so I asked him to share his mom's recipe if it wasn't a family secret.
