Happy Father’s Day

I can almost smell the fat sizzling on a BGE right now.

It’s just me and mama today, I’ve got a lasagna in the slow cooker and she’s got a big pan of manicotti ready to stick in the oven when we get back from church. Toasted garlic bread and fresh steamed squash to go with it.

I get as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs on Father's Day. I always expect a call from my son .... but am constantly wondering if I'll get an unexpected call from someone saying, "Hi Dad! Between 23andMe and Al Gore's Internet, I was finally able to locate you!"
