The lass in my avatar is a survivor. Surgery, Chemo, radiation.
She did it all. It took most of a year, but she kicked cancer's ass and stomped it a bit on the way out.
October 8th is the day she started her fight beginning with surgery, so she counts October 8th as her "cancer free anniversary".
I'm taking her out to dinner to celebrate.

I took her out for dinner at one of her favorite southern Ohio restaurants to celebrate.
It overlooks Cincinnati.
Some pink roses for her. I sneaked them in before hand.
Then they made a big deal of presenting them to her.
She got a free desert. All I got was the bill...
