That looks like one of Kribbs buddies in Thailand with a river runner. In which case that would make him a River bound Uber eats driver.

Those are called long-tailed boats in Thailand and I spent a LOT of time on them back in the day. My longest ride was across Lake Tonle’ Sap running from Siem Reap (Cambodia) on the way to Phenom Penh in what was called a “fast boat”. Fast is an understatement. That crazy f’er was running a twin turbo diesel and it about sucked the skin off my frigging face! If you don’t have balls the size of a couple’a Volkswagen Beetles, don’t even think about it!

I’m not sure why this dude thinks he’s the first white boy to ride in one of these things, but I probably have him beat by close to 50 years! Back in the mid-90’s I made the mistake of hitting the Mekong River with a CRAZY Laotian dude and offered him an extra $20 USD if he never let anyone pass him. It led to a few races and my knuckles were the whitest part of my body for about a week after that. It sure was fun, but I’m surprised I lived through it! :)
