We have a 3 1/2 acre storm water retention pond behind the house and it has some mighty good size fish in it. I catch quality panfish, catfish, bass, crappie all Spring and Summer.
Anywho, It's been very dry here, the water is as low as I've seen it in 7 years. I noticed a that there is little to NO structure in the 1-5 foot depth range, around the entire pond.

Pictured is 4 Christmas trees, that will be between 2-5 feet deep when the pond fills.

I am going to drop and anchor another 3-4 behind these that will be 7-8 feet, and behind that I am going to drop a coupe of "Crappie Tower"s... which is a fancy term for a bunch of 8 foot long bamboo stuck out of a bag of quikrete.

I’m gonna report you to your HOA! ;)

If the HOA doesn’t have a rule against this, they will by this time next year! (That’s pretty cool though RT.)

Looking at that dock, I foresee more lost hooks than usual next year. :)

That seems like a lot of work for somebody who can’t catch a fucking fish.

That’s what posthole said in the secret laughing room, anyway.

Notice those are just reachable from the dock with a cane pole. And even room behind in case you have to ‘cornfield’ a big one.

I'm with Thumper, looks like a hook losing situation for sure.
