Yesterday we hit 50 degrees and got just over an inch of rain. It hadn’t been above freezing for a couple of weeks so the ground is still pretty frozen. So that inch+ of rain and all of the snow melt had nowhere to go, causing flooding. Now the temp has dropped and there was a little bit of freezing rain until now when it’s turned to snow. They are calling for 4-7 inches of snow with 35 MPH winds through the night.

Tomorrow the high is supposed to be in the mid 20’s. Gonna be a fun day to be working, not!

We just had one of those 40 degree swings here just yesterday, DD. So have another! On me! Another is due next week they say.

We were something like 52 degrees on Saturday and yesterday I think we topped out at around Zero. Today's high is supposed to be -2 but currently -11 so it has a ways to go.

Yep, just over 50 yesterday and a high of 56 today with rain. We’ve got some big time flooding going on. This is the second round of 2+ inches of rain flowed by heavy snows. I think the total snow from the two combined was about 16” which has all melted off. Add in the frozen ground not allowing the water to soak in.

No school today, freezing rain last night, another system is coming through this afternoon, rain to sleet to snow.
Next week is March, first month of spring, although we've had some of our biggest snowfall in March.
About 30 days and I can take the car out of the barn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
