You’re prolly one of the few to be ancient enough to remember them. [emoji6]

Anyway, Lynn and I just got home from our (annual) local Strawberry Festival and we had tickets for the Lettermen (outdoor) concert. One thing I’ll have to admit, the WHOLE audience was our age or older! That said, it was a GREAT concert and sure brought back memories. I never realized they’ve recorded 75 albums (11 gold records) and will be in Vegas next week to record number 76.

A favorite group, HS & College. Great song to dance to, easy listening around a campfire, and great make-out tune.
Ya done good Thump !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah Bubba, it was good to hear a group and be able to understand every word of every song ... something that's rare these days. PLUS, they put on a straight 1-1/2 hour concert with no breaks and we knew every song they performed. We both agreed, it's one of the best we've attended in quite a while and it really brought back the memories. We had a great time and I'm really glad we went.

Oh, and LJ ... YOU, fine sir, can BITE ME! ;)

Thump is so old that when he first listened to them, The Lettermen were just the Four Freshmen.

Awww, bite me. I will admit I first had them on vinyl, before graduating up to 8-track. Like Bubba said, great make-out music, though my go-to there was “Best of the BeeGees”. I nicknamed that 8-track the guaranteed panty-peeler! ;)
