Dang! Slow is an understatement. We’re still in LA and not sure when we’ll be leaving, but probably head out early next week. Our niece is having her 19th birthday Saturday, before heading off to college. I’m going to hook up with an old buddy of 45 years (my old motorcycle racing partner) tomorrow, gonna squeeze in time to see my 92 year old uncle who still thinks he’s in his 20’s and Sunday is dedicated to spend the day with my old partner in crime, Bill (Willie) Stroppe who’s planning to run the Baja 1000 again this year, so between old friends and family, I’ve been on the go constantly. We drove again to avoid the ridiculous problems with the airlines, plus reduce the chance of picking up Mr. Covid and bringing him to the family here. It appears Archer (Gary Carty) is stuck in airline Hell right now, while trying to return from his African safari. (Been following him on FB) I don’t know how long it’s gonna take to get the travel industry back on track, but it’s in a shambles right now. Luckily I don’t mind driving. It’s ending up being two 5200 mile trips, a month apart. Piece of cake for this old man! ;)

Great Stroppe history if anybody cares. I miss visiting the old man and “mom”, but Willy and I have remained very close over the years. It’ll be great to hook up and talk about our old off road days.
