We were planning on going, but then I heard Kamala and the "second gentleman" are going to be there, so I cancelled. :slaphead

Naaa, seriously, we did discuss it and seriously considered it, but we've been slammed lately, trying to prepare for the upcoming trip (plus we're scheduled to donate blood tomorrow). I wanted to take the motor home over today and spend the night, but I'm in the middle of a few different projects on the unit and it would be too much of a hassle.

Hopefully the weather will be clear and I'll just watch it from my pool deck as it should be quite a show, judging by the size of that monster rocket!

Yep, that’s always the gamble with these things. When I was younger, we’d go camp on the beach and watch the launches. If they were scrubbed, who cared? We had fun anyway. These days, it’s a lot of work and a bit of a drive. I can watch from my back yard, but it’s not nearly as dramatic as when up close and personal.
