We made our final drive from Seattle to Phoenix over the weekend. The first day we pushed pretty hard and stayed in Ogden, Utah. After checking into the hotel we talked about it and decided we needed some vacation time, and to shorten the drive. So, we decided that on Saturday we'd only drive 5 hours and try and rent a UTV to explore some of the trails. It was a great time and I'm still in awe of Utahs changing landscape and beauty.

This was in Kanab at the Peakboo trail.

It is beautiful country for sure. We once went with a bunch of friends and rented a houseboat for 2-weeks on Lake Powell. I’m still in awe from the beauty of it all.

Oh, btw, I assume you’re aware someone stole your sleeves …. AND you’re fugly! ;)

Glad you took a break to have a good time.

I am fugly, its why I fit right in with this group. Ya, it was hot so I cut them off. On our drive we packed only necessity clothes and literally were not prepared for this trip...no shorts, no real shoes (other than flip flops), and no light shirts.

As far as I’m concerned, flip-flops ARE real shoes!

Nice pics.

I spent a night camping in a state park outside of Kanaab before starting a wilderness trek in the Escalante. Cool place. This one rock structure caught my eye for some reason.

CD that's funny. We spent the first hour driving to the slot canyon then we're trying to find the hoodoo area. That's what I think that is.

That’s, right Hombre. I couldn’t recall the right name for those things but they’re all over this one area.

Did you hear your old hound dog chasing down a hoodoo there?

He was there in spirit I'm sure. I Miss that dog, he was naturally gifted and was always one of the best in a pheasant field.
