Crows

I don't know if it's because the dry weather has affected the food supply but the other day about a dozen or so crows attacked my pecan tree and the pecans are still green in the the shell. Well that pecan tree is sacred ground so neither squirrel nor crow is allowed. Apparently they underestimated my marksmanship if not my stealth and I dropped one about 40-45 yds away with high brass #6's. My intention had been to put the fear of God in them but then I remembered an uncle of mine who used to hang them upside down in his pecan trees as a deterrent so I tied that bugger up and and "Voila" the crows don't even fly by within a couple hundred yards now.

Guess those oldtimers knew a thing or three
