Winter certainly isn’t shy! our morning started at 20. Its now 10 andthe wind is blowing like a two dollar hooker. And snow, did I mention snow? We’re getting Bwana winter weather!

Eff Winter now that it is OFFICIALLY here!

Our average winter snowfall is 50.5 inches, as of Monday we are already at 47.5 inches which puts us at the most snow at this date in 137 years of record. Didn't watch the news last night but pretty sure with the snow we received yesterday, we are now at or exceeding the 50.5 inches.

The crappy part is that the majority of the 47.5" came in only two events.

Snow and cold don't normally bother me, but this winter has me reconsidering.

Colder than a well diggers ass here right now. Definitely NOT our 'normal' weather for this time of year - usually a green Christmas not the snow stuff!

It’s coming my way too. It’s 34 now and will be down to 0 by morning with an expected 50 MPH wind along with a forecast of 8-12 inches of snow.

QA has gone over to the other side. He’s now describing temperatures using wind chill like a Herb Tarlick weather man. Next thing you know he’ll be talking about heat index.

QA, I’ll trade you. Our actual temp is -7 with a 25 MPH wind making the wind chill -33.

At least we didn’t get as much snow as they thought.

Herb was a hog fan, he kept a Razorback mug on his desk every episode

I've got frozen pipes this morning sounds like a fun couple of days

Hoo boy. Our laundry room is on the north side of the house and the pipes run up the exterior wall so that’s our only real weak spot for frozen pipes. I left the water dripping in the sink back there and it hasn’t froze up yet. Fingers crossed. This is socked in for a day or so.

Good luck with your pipes QA! Don’t burn your dad gum housedown.

I'm just gonna haul water till it blows through. I stocked up some empty water jugs for just this type of emergency.

DD, I already have to endure sweltering humid summers, snakes and skeeters and dodge tornado's.......I shouldn't have to endure sub zero temperatures as well. You yankees need to keep that blasted stuff up there

Ha! I’m in sunny Los Angeles. Actually, it’s hitting at home also. Supposed to dip into the low 30’s for 3-4 days. Of course, that’s in the wee hours of the morning and will come up a bit during the day. Ol’ Al Gore’s global warming isn’t going to spare ANYBODY with this one!
