MSU Shooting

Just found out this AM that a very close HS friend of my Grand Daughter was in the Student Union on Monday Night and was just feet away from the guy when he started shooting.
She took off like a jack rabbit and ran all the way to her dorm, where she sheltered in place.
Rather a very traumatic moment in her life and is having a hard time right now.

JB - It's a crazy world. My son goes to ASU and was walking to his dorm when he encountered swat who told him to go back the other way. A kid jumped out of the bushes and said his phone died and asked Cade to call him an uber. Swat rushed in and found a gun in the bushes, and they'd been looking for him from an earlier shooting. He didn't shoot anyone but had shot at people.

That would scare the wits out of anybody. I feel for her.

Itbothers me that kids have to go through these active shooter drills. Of course, my generation was trained to hide under our wooden desks in case of nuclear attack, so….
