Lynn has been wanting to try some “hot honey”, so we picked up a bottle of the stuff. This morning she made some scrambled eggs w/cheese for my breakfast, as well as some biscuits with butter, hot honey and ham. I’ll admit, it was pretty good, but nothing super exciting imho.

I’m not sure if Lynn has specific plans for this stuff or if we’ll just have it around for general use, but I have nothing negative to say about it, other than the price. I think we found it locally for $7-$8, but it’s all over the map on-line …. like $10-$20! Admittedly, everything is expensive these days, so maybe I’m just out of the loop because I don’t do the grocery shopping.

Anyway, I just thought I’d throw this out here in case anyone’s interested. I guess it would be good with wings/chicken or beans and cornbread, for example, but I could probably rip through a 9 oz. bottle in no time flat.

Looks good. To me, honey and chicken are a kick-ass combination! Throw in a bit of hot sauce and I’m in heaven. So, why not “hot honey”?

Don't remember where, Nashville maybe, we tried chicken with hot honey and even bought some for home. Good with the right dish.

I use Mike’s to finish my ribs. It’s actually darn good on a pepperoni pizza as well.

Now the ribs idea sounds good. I can’t quite get my head around the pizza, but I’ll try anything once. Just sounds kind’a weird.

Mike’s here. Good with about everything you put hot sauce or honey on. Works really well too mixed with BBQ sauce on chicken wings.

When it comes to wings, I’ve been spoiled for the past 20 years or so. Cook up a batch of wings (fried, baked, air-fryer, whatever), throw ‘em in a Tupperware container, pour in a bottle or two of Tiger Sauce, put on the lid and shake ‘em up ‘til covered. Trust me, you’ll never eat ‘em any other way after that.

I may be the only human in existence that doesn’t eat wings with sauce. Fried with gravy as Good intended

Ok, you and I share quite a few similarities in our culinary preferences, but gravy on wings is just weird!

Thighs, legs, breasts, etc, no prob. (I like a good mushroom gravy with chicken over a bed of rice)

not gravy on, gravy with. Only thing I want on wings is flour and hot grease although I will eat lemon pepper wings baked or grill but much prefer fried

For someone who lives hot sauce I am stupid about wing sauce. Think I might cook some up this weekend and experiment.

Got a good buddy from NYC that hooked me on rubbed wings.
