My sister always mails her Christmas cards out to friends and family around Thanksgiving. She mailed them “on schedule” for last Christmas and TODAY she had one returned to her. It’s the card she’d mailed to a cousin, but inadvertently dropped a number from the mailing address. Wow! The return only took 4 months to make it back to her! Give USPS a raise for a job well done.

I handle the PO Box for the gang investigators association that I’m on the state board for and back around Christmas there was a card in the box that was addressed to an address in Oregon and had been sent from another place in Oregon. When I turned it in at the counter they noted that the bar code on the envelope was for Angola IN where the PO Box is. Just over a month later, the same card appeared in the box. Same conversation with the mail clerk at the counter. Just last week, guess what? The same card was back in my PO Box. Maybe the third time is the charm and that person finally gets their Christmas card.
