Definitely loved his voice/songs

I admit that I knew next to nothing about him. Those of his songs that were popular here in the US were on the radio long before I could even drive.

BUT then last year I noticed a Netflix or Amazon special on him and figured I'd watch it. I was amazed at the wide influence he had and the collaborations he took part in. They also had a lot about his personal life in the show and he, like a lot of us, made some spectacular bungles in his life. But managed to come out the other side intact.

I gained loads of respect for his life's work. He was quite a man and artist.

I’ve been a Lightfoot fan since Summertime Dream came out a long time ago. He’s one of those artists that you don’t realize how much of their music is familiar until you start listening to their greatest hits stuff.
