Mixed emotions today ….

In the military (BCT), when we'd stop for a break during a run or forced march, the DI's would holler, "Smoke 'em if ya' got 'em!" It was a rest break for me, a smoke break for the smokers.

Today, l'd like to say, "Hug 'em if ya' got 'em!" I took this photo of my mom on Mother's Day (5/12/2019). On 5/14/2019 my sister called to inform me our mom had passed away. Give 'em a hug today, you just never know.

Went down and spent part of the afternoon with my Mom yesterday. She’s 87 and except for a few challenges is going strong.

What a lovely lady Jim. My own mother was glowing yesterday with all 4 generations of her family around her.

Thanks Willy. P-hole, that pic was taken as we were about to take mom out for a Mother’s Day lunch. Two days later, she was gone. She was “only” 87.
