One of my former student's makes his living as a guitarist in a band called The Sammus Theory

Anyway he posted a fairly recent photo of himself on FB and I thought it looked pretty cool. While it's not really the type of music I care for, I do have a ton of respect for the fact he's living his dream. It's all he ever wanted to do and unlike 99% of teenagers that dream of being a rock star, he's actually accomplished it. He's been at it for 10 years or better. All I can say is: GOOD FOR HIM!!!

given his laft hand postiion, I'm guessing it's some pretty damn dark metal. Open E or drop D tuning :)

I do that every once in a whie... just because it's cool!

Yeah Len it's pretty dark. There is some samples of there music on the link I posted. I do agree with you about the open E and Drop D tuning. I do it for the same reason now and then...it really is pretty cool.
