One of my best friends from Jackson, MS dropped by for a visit, today....he stops by about once a month, on his way to visit his elderly Mom, who only lives a few miles from me.
I could tell that he was unusually excited about something....his son is an up and coming film producer, who hasn't really hit the big time, yet....until now....he is the producer of the new movie, "The Way-Way Back", which will open nationwide in July....he's working in Atlanta, this week, with Robin Williams on another movie, "A Friggin' Christmas Miracle".
I won't bore you with the details, but here's the link to the movie's info., if you're interested....look for the name, "Tom Rice" in the credits....good kid....he's paid his dues in the movie industry, and I'm glad to see him finally succeed.
