Winter that is. Ice and snow again last night, forecast more for the next couple of days. We've yet to reach 60 degrees this year, best we got was one day in the low 50's.
They did a rare thing and closed schools today because of the ice covered roads.

Looks just like that out my window this morning as well. Okay with a few less tree's and bushes, but just as white.

Wow. I mowed the lawn, did a bunch a yard work and washed the truck yesterday. Sunny and warm. Well warmer than youse guys, anyway.

Been pretty nice here but the prairies are still locked in winter. Glad we moved.

I hate autocorrect.

Been snowing lightly here for 2 days. Don't mother nature know that tomorrow is the start of SPRING turkey season? If things don't change this year's turkey pictures might look like the ones I took of the boys from the spring of 2011.

The Double-Niner. A feat that hasn't been duplicated since either.

March 25 last year, azaleas and dogwoods both in bloom.

This year, not yet. Some dogwoods are sort of skipping the bloom phase. Some trees are just budding. Some have popped out. Last night was freeze warnings towards Posthole's way. By Monday it'll be 84 and we'll be off to the races. Some of my grass has shot up (the part above the field lines!!!), others are still covered in leaves.

However, January was pretty warm. Since then, it's been crazy, though.

Global Warming, I'm sure.

I've been trying for years to grow cherry trees here. Finally got a good one going and it looks like a white cloud this spring. Thought it was going to get bit last night but it only got down to 36 here at the house.

Droughts are cyclical here in the part of the country we live in. Just ask those who lived here during the Dust Bowl.

Still, global warming is at least partially man made and it is real. Just because it didn't cause this drought doesn't mean it isn't real.
