Opening morning in NC calling in a big strutting Tom for my Son.
He did a great job with a long shot!
It's was over about as fast as it can happen. Called him right in off the roost, hammering all the way. Last 20 yards he strutted in all the way. David was pumped!
Take Care, Captain

Way to go Cappy. I'm done in Florida but am going to Mississippi Tuesday for a few days of turkey chasing on Judge Bramletts place. Keep exposing the hammerhead to that disease. He's probably already eat up with it. Can't wait to put my grandson on one but at age 2 he's still a tad young.

That is just fantastic!
That lil hamerhead ain't so lil no more. Looks to be turning into a fine young man.
I know y'all had a great time, and getting a nice tom is just "iceing on the cake".:headbang

Nice! You are a death sentence to gobblers!

Don't tell him I said so but I think hammerhead may be getting uglier!

Well he is blessed with my looks... :D
It was a great day. He's been posting pictures on Facebook and talking smack to all his buds...
Thanks all, Captain

Thanks for making me feel old. I remember when we had to CARRY that squirt across the street when we went for breakfast! Looks like he could carry ME now!

Nice bird BTW. ;)

I can tell you this, he may have gotten bigger but when wading in a river, he moves with the grace of a pregnant yak :)

I guess we all know them Plyler boys are about as good as good folks can get.

What a great day you boys had Larke. Looks like the young man is a chip right off the block. Wondered if he would end up being the kind of turkey hunter his pop is and it looks like he just might.
