anyone can catch a big dumb bucketmouth like that :) Although I have to admit, it a was great fighting fish. She was PISSED.

The spring has been tough on the rivers. Every time it settles enough locally to be fishable, it rains buckets in west virginny and it all flows toward the Chesapeake basin, which the Potomac and Shenandoah are part of.

Don't say anything, but the level and stain are looking pretty damn good for this weekend. Temps are still real cool, gonna have to bust our the insulated waders here right soon. I may get out with Cap'n E for a quick fish before I shoot a wedding this saturday. Keeping hope alive!

No reason to get uppity about it! You smallie fishermen just aren't used to catching big fish. Its a shock I'm sure.
