My best friend's son got a great job here when the Fayetteville Shale drilling started a few years ago. He stayed with it and has become a Driller. He's been in ND for several years, and now they have trained him to do offshore drilling. His company commissioned the building a drilling ship in S. Korea. It got built for the most part, and then sailed to Norway to have instruments and software put in it. He's been with it (flying home every few weeks) ever since. Well, now it's back in S. Korea before it sails to its final drilling location (he still doesn't know, Caribbean, Brazil, Africa are choices). He left for Korea Tuesday and is now over there.

Korea ain't exactly a stable place. There's millions of folks over there that need prayers for stability. But he's one of 'em, and the onliest one that I actually know.

SO, just add him to the list.

Thanks.

Will do, Bucky....and, since we're on the subject of prayer needs, PLEASE add my son to ya'lls prayer list.

I have mentioned this previously, but my son was diagnosed with "Pars Planitis" in his left eye about four years ago....there's not a cure for it, only treatments, which are only temporary....it has gotten worse, and now, his right eye is showing signs of being affected, also.

He is headed to Memphis, today, to see a more experienced specialist for more evaluation....ya'll please send up a quick prayer for him....he's my only child.

I have to keep reminding myself that God is good----every time----ALL the time!!!

Thanks.

Buddy got a text from his son today. Cryptic sorta......but he made it safely there, and it does appear that the ship will leave within a week or so, and sail to the Caribbean where it will somewhere dock and start drilling. It's a 60 day trip, so he will be a while getting 'out of the way', but he's headed in that direction. When he ends up, it won't be Brazil or Africa, it'll be somewhere in the Caribbean. So.......worse things could happen. He just has to get OUT of there safely in the next few weeks without the world blowing up.

And big prayers for your son, Ed. Has to be tough.
