Ha! I barely remember my prom. I DO remember having to work my butt off paying for the damages though! We ended up on a Mississippi River Boat (Memphis Belle?) ... drunker than skunks I might add. :D

Sometime during the night, I ended up taking a dare and dove off the top deck into the Mississippi River! I lived through it and once back aboard, continued partying. The next day, my rented "white" tux was the color of the Mississippi ... kind of that "red clay" color at that particular time. Man-o-Man! Do you even have a CLUE what a tuxedo costs???!!!

So, even back in my day, proms were kinda pricey. :D

BTW .. the $$$ I won from the bet didn't come close to paying the damages. :(

That's BS. I picked up the dress for less than $150.00. Her Mom paid for mani-pedi and getting her hair did which was about even with me. We live in an area where dumbass yuppies go way over the top but we ain't them :)

Thankfully I have a few years yet before this chaos begins.

That's a great story there, Buckster.

(Her father, David Herron, learned to sew while serving in the military.....)

I'll betcha a dollar to a donut he was a parachute rigger in the service.
When I was in the Navy, those guys made a lot of "stuff" in their spare time.
