There are 'printers' that are about $15,000 that are actually plastic fabricators.........you get software that makes the pieces of a gun in CAD/CAM type applications, and print it out in plastic on one of these 'printers' (bad word, IMHO), and put it together, and stick a bullet it in and it fires. No metal parts.

Saw those 3D "printers" demonstrated on tv a while back ... sheeesh, seems like it was a few years ago. Interesting stuff.

My dentist has one of those. Stuck a little fiber optic pen in my mouth that measured my tooth and the hole he'd drilled into it and sent it to a machine that made me a crown that fit perfectly. Pretty amazing stuff.

I saw a thingy on the Net a while back that someone had linked to.

It was an interview on Alex Jones Info wars. Might be the same guy. This guy was "printing" 30 round AR mags THAT WORKED. They "printed" the mag and follower, and had to use a metal spring.

The first one of these I saw was years ago on the TV. They made a 15" Cresant wrench that worked.

Yep! That's the one I saw Niner! I couldn't remember what they made until you mentioned it.
