Girl's tennis team had a great run. 14-2 on the year, made it to the finals of the regionals and ran into a great team.
The two invitationals we played in we finished 4th and 2nd. Only state ranked teams beat us.
Rewrote the school's record books with 4 spots of the all time career wins top 50 bumped down, and one girl is just a sophomore.
On the year:
Boys season: 16-4
Girls 14-2
total 30-6
Boys 5 time sectional champs, 2 time regional champs
girls 2 time sectional champs, 2 time regional finalist
#1 boys singles state finalist, finisted 7th in the state
2 weeks off til summer camps and work outs.
Oh, and I finished the year #1 in the 45 and over division in Northern Indiana of the USTA tournament rakings.
After 20 yrs as an assistant coach, this was my first year as head coach... set the bar pretty high!
