Well, Buckney, looks like your Hogs drove the last nail in the coffin on Stephenson's stellar 36 year career at Wichita State....the Shockers won their conference championship this year, and he's the 2nd winningest coach in college baseball history.
The AD said the loss to the Hogs at the regionals was the straw that broke the camel's back....even with only one year left on his contract, he gave Stephenson a choice---retire or get fired.
I'm sure those dui's, stalking charges, and his threat of moving to Oklahoma had an influence on the decision, too. ;)
