I don't know if this is interesting to anyone or not. I mean after all it's what I do for a living, but some folks say they like seeing how things progress. Nuff said.

Here the rooster pheasant is mostly drawn and just needs some more refinement and detail work around the wing, tail, and base of the tail, as well as the lower part of his body. The hen is just roughed in.

Here the rooster is more or less finished and I'm starting on the hen. Note the difference on the hen's eye between the roughed in version and the finished version.

The hen is now coming along really well. She is fairly difficult as there is a lot of slight light/dark variations in her feather patterns. I will likely finish her up tomorrow and then start adding foreground and ground. Hope to have it all finished up by Saturday. I will post a photo when it's all done. Well that is if anyone cares to see the finished piece?

Man!! You are amazing. What an awesome god-given talent you have....and that you are teaching others is just...well awesome.
You definitely know how to run the pointy end of the pencil. I am still having trouble with the rubbery end. :notworthy
