Almost made a Phole shot.....

Jumped this piece of sheeit out in an open grass field....grabbed the Ruger 22 w/3x9 Burris scope off the backseat, and got off one running-away 70 yard shot, right before he hit the woodline.

Drove over there, and there he lay....I didn't try to raise his nasty tail, but it looked like a near-to-the-azzhole entry shot.

Right at dusk dark, I had another yote, that looked like a mangy ole male, walk across another field, right in front of my tractor about 30 yards away....wasn't the least bit scared of the tractor.

My dumb-azz-self forgot to transfer the Ruger from the truck to the tractor....I keep saying I need to just keep a rifle on the tractor, at all times, because most animals pay absolutely no attention to a big ole tractor....but, they'll flee in a heartbeat at even the sound of an atv or truck.
