So, I was at my Physical Therapist on Monday. Towards the end of the appointment she's entering data into her computer and says that Wed is (was) the last appointment I had scheduled before I go back out to MDA for my next quarterly checkup. Then she says that she thinks that should be my LAST appointment, as I have met all of the goals we set up LAST YEAR when I started seeing her, and that there is nothing more that she thinks she can do for me!!!

This is HUGE news. Since my surgery back in April, I have made more improvements than I had made all of last year. I think I have really "turned the corner" on my rehab. Still having a bit of pain off and on, especially when rain is coming....but I am doing a LOT better, and am able to drive a limited amount around town to run errands and such. Still using my cane, but I AM able to walk a little bit around the house without aid when I am not tired.
Now I just have to keep doing my exercises and walking on my treadmill and riding the recumbent bike and stuff to keep building up my stamina and strength on my own.
Can't wait until I get well enough to take a "road trip" and go up to pester Cap'n for a spell. :beer:friday
