Man - What a weekend!

Smoked pork shoulder, beer butt chicken, wings, shrimp & Texas caviar.
Fireworks
Good size Largemouth in a pond
croaker, spot, perch for bait, then live lining for stripers on the bay
Wading in the early AM on a great section of river and nailed 18 smallies
Packing and moving stuff to storage and to Lucia's house filled in all the extra time slots

All = an awesomely good weekend!

You didn't miss anything, I just haven't mentioned it :) The short version is we've been working really hard in our "off-season". We both went our separate ways and both discovered about the same time that those separate ways are not what we wanted, at all. So... I had a lot of heavy lifting to do, personally, to get where I wanted to be. Right now our plan is to move back in to Lucia's current tiny little house and work the plan for a new house for us all. Life is good. We don't often get another chance that we don't really deserve to have. I'm making the most of this one!
