I've never used dynamite to fish. I may have made a phone call or two to check and see how they were doing, but that's it.

I was in Southern Thailand back in the 70's at a place called Sattahip (big B-52 airbase there). I had a Thai friend who invited me to go fishing with him. We motored out into the Gulf of Thailand, he stopped the boat and said, "Let's fish!" Then he dragged out a box of dynamite and we started "fishing"! I have to admit, it was quite an experience ... but I never went fishing with him again! :eek:

Looks like a hand grenade he's dropping. What a moron. I remember the old timers talking about fishing with "CIL wobblers" - a quarter stick of dynamite, cap and fuse but I've never seen it done.
