In my opinion (worth nothing), this violates the 4th Amendment.

This is the tip of the iceberg. There's black boxes in cars now that can tell exactly where you are at any time, how you got there, and how long you've stayed. And we're so sucked into GPS technology now with cellphones and gps units themselves that there not any privacy when you're not in your car.

Pretty stupid of the guy to say they couldn't tell who you are dating, 'we're at least ten years from that', which kind of indicates to me they are looking at selling demographic related data to marketing companies. And lord know who else.
