What a crock. This guy makes it sound like if you don't have a corporate 401k, you're doomed.

Hey dude! Can you spell "IRA"???

Most companies have cut back or eliminated the matching part of a 401k in last 10 years.......so there's little difference in an IRA and a 401k anyway.

"Financial Advisors" are about to convince the world that retirement is an Edsel or a Do-Do Bird........

I've never understood why those that do have those plans available don't take advantage of them. It's free damn money. That ain't a tough question.

Well, the last few years of my employment, there were no matching funds. No free money at all. Free only in the sense that it's pre-tax. BUT, so is an IRA.

I just believe that a great many people plan on living on Social Security........which was never meant to be a full retirement plan, just one to keep you from going hungry when your real retirement plan wouldn't be enough.
