We have a little niece who's celebrating a birthday this weekend. I was just sitting here on the computer and an e-mail came into my inbox, about a half hour ago, asking me to take a survey letting them know how their service was.

Thank you for shopping at Party City in LAKELAND

Evidently Lynn stopped on her way home from work and picked up a card. Sheesh, she's not even home yet and I know where she was, when she was there, what she bought and how much she paid even though she paid cash! Man-o-man, it may be a bit tough to have a little something going on the side these days (ifyouknowwhatImeanandIthinkthatyoudo) ... mama could bust your ass right quick and you'd never know what hit you!

Yeah, I can see everything paid for on a credit card ... but a dang CASH transaction? Man-o-man, a guy has to be really careful these days! ;)

So, what happens when hubby buys flowers but doesn't come home with anything? :thwak

So how did they get all your info from a cash transaction? I have cashiers asking me all the time for postal codes and email addys and I just say no.

Lowe's says "What is your phone number?"

I say "I don't have one"

I say "why do you need to know that?" then decline to give it.

I tried that and I got a long explanation that I didn't have time for, how it was for returns or some b/s, and so now I just say "I don't have one". They type in a bogus number. EVERY time I say that, the folks in line around me laugh, and almost applaud. Funny.......

I usually go with 90210 for a zip and 867-5309 for a phone number.

Ha! Yeah, we buy cards there all the time and have for years. I'm sure somewhere along the line we gave them the info. We normally pay with a credit card ... that "may" be the source. Who knows? I'll just have to remember if I ever buy a card there that says, For That Special "Someone" ... I'd better be sure and bring it home with me!
