The big TC Film Festival is underway this week and one of their features is a huge outdoor screen setup on the bay where they show free movies.
Only problem is they can't start the movie till it gets dark and around here with DST it's about 10pm.
Last night Kay wanted to see the movie "Across the Universe", packed up a couple of comfortable chairs and headed downtown. I don't know how many of you have seen this movie but it's based on all Beatles songs and pretty much covers what went on during the 60's (the great decade I grew up in ;>) ). Weather was a cool summer night, breeze off the bay, no bugs, about 800 people of all ages and according to the film festival the first time an outdoor movie has been shown in 4HD.
Movie brought back lots of memories of that time, both good and bad, but we really did enjoy it.
The only downside was we got home a few minutes before midnight, a time I have not seen in about a year and half.
Working today at about 3/4 speed but see an afternoon nap on the schedule. :wavey
