That's persactly what I was thinking Lenster! ;) Then I figured it would be better to hold it as an emergency fund in case any issues arise down the line.

I figured I'd leave this here for a bit so everyone will see it, eventually make it a "sticky" so it will always be visible, then edit the ledger as needed in the future. Heck, it's been a year now and things have been running so smoothly once the bugs were worked out, we may not need additional funds for quite some time. This site is MUCH cheaper than that old POS we had and has been trouble-free so far. If anyone has suggestions for improvements or needed software, we have funds available.

Everyone here needs to be commended. I've had three members (who donated previously) contact me to ask if we needed additional funds to keep this place up and running, but I informed them no further donations are needed at this time. This place amazes me sometimes. Wow!

Anyway, once this becomes a sticky, anyone here can check to see what our financial status is at any time.

Or lamps with genies in them.

And since its our birthday, or somewhere close to thereabouts, thanks again to Niner for everything he does here, and I mean he does literally everything that needs to be done around this site. I keep promising him I'll learn how to do stuff but I still don't even know how to put up a new picture in Fishing. I have the instructions, Niner and I promise I 'll do it next time!

What day is GH birthday, at new site??

Thanks Jim for keeping the books for us.

Thanks to Niner, Barry, I think Arty , whomever else has worked on this site and also to the secret committee !!!!

This site has turned out nice and even though I don't like change, this worked out.

Thank You!! :D

Best I can figure from looking at when the 'secret committee' created their user IDs it was 08/15/12, or one year ago today that we first opened 'er up. I still think the old inception date of April/1997 as the original birth date of the site though. Doesn't matter if we're beating on drums to talk or what software we use, its still Goodhuntin'.

Well why don't we make Anniversary date April 9 and the year 2007. The month and year GH was launched into space!!

Would be easy to remember!! Lol

But use August 15, as the Birthday we moved to this site?

We can have two celebrations!!

BTW ... the "start-up" date for this site is a bit blurred. As you can see from the ledger, the old site and this site were running concurrently for a while. We didn't want to pull the plug at the old site until we knew this one was fully operational and functional. Larke may have the persact date we pulled the plug at the old site.

I wrote the 9th is my birthday and GH was 4/2007.
I just stuck my birthday (9th) in, so I can remember GH start up.

He didn't post an exact day, so I invented my day of birth (9th)!

As for being off ....... I'm flattered!!! Lol

2007 makes me much younger then the 1950's actual year!!!

Huh? WTF????? Now I don't know who's losterest ... you or me.

You been hittin' the peroxide again? :D

I'll type slooooowly ... I think you're missing the whole point.

G/H was formed in 1-9-9-7 .... not 2007. Hence my initial comment you were 10 years off! ;)
