Remember my complaints about my internet service with Dish???....well, I found out that a lot of the sheeit, being downloaded to my pc, in the middle of the night, was coming from THEIR sorry azzes....all sorta updates and trivial advertising sheeit, just to use up my 10 gigs of monthly bandwith quicker, and provoke me in to upgrading to a higher priced internet package.

Well, I fixed their azzes....I installed a separate surge protector, and only plugged in my internet modem and router to it....at night, I flip off the switch, so nobody can download a day'um thing to my pc.

I've barely used 2 gigs, since doing this....screw 'em.

Doesn't seem right for them to charge you for that crap. That's just wrong.

Yep, that's a day'um rip-off for sure, but I fixed that sheeit. ;)

Just make sure they don't buffer it somewhere and download it to you when you log on each day. There almost has to be a firewall setting somewhere that'll stop that crap. I'm just not smart enough to know how to do it.

That sounds to me like a good impetus for a class action lawsuit. Some law firm could make a bazillion $$$ off that one.
