I've got a 99 yamaha four wheeler that runs absolutely great but it's starting to look a little (ok a lot) weather worn, especially the plastic. I think I'd like to paint all the plastic but I have no idea what chemicals out there will remove all the stains built up from years of use. Any ideas?

Thanx in advance

Bleach in a pump sprayer. Try a small area first. Wash off soon after.

Meguiar's PlastX is made for restoring clear plastic windshields in UTV/ATV's but it will clean and make colored plastic look brand new also.
I restored my windshield on my gator and it worked great. Clear as new glass. I had put a new front fender on one side of the gator and the other side was very dull and scratched. So I used the PlastX on the old fender and it looked as good as the new one when I finished. GREAT STUFF!
You will thank me later.
Take Care, Captain

I wonder if that'd work on a boat windscreen, Larke?

If it is Plastic or plexiglass it will make it like new. That stuff even clears up those plastic headlight and taillight lenses.
It's about 8 bucks a bottle. Give it a try on a small area of your boat windshield and see how you like it.
