Email question for you gurus.....

Google bought out my Dishnet email service, so I had to get a new google email addy....sucks, but I had no choice in the matter.

Question....I no longer get an email notification, ding-ding or on my screen.

How do I retrieve that feature???

Do you have Outlook......or possibly Outlook Express?
MIGHT be possible to put you gmail addy in the Account Settings.

That's what I do with my ATT.NET service.
I WAY WAY WAY prefer to use Outlook over the web-based email, even though I do use the web-based gmail interface....I just don't have to deal with the Yahoo email that ATT runs.

Same here as Niner. Its easy to set up in Outlook and it gives you the notification options you're talking about I think.
