Yeah, now that Thumper is out shopping with Lynne we can talk about cooking without being called names.

I actually bought a sourdough starter even though I've started several on my own and its a snap. This one is from an original thats over 170 years old. Anyway, made sourdough bread from it and it is some kind of awesome. Made buttermilk sourdough biscuits this morning for breakfast and they were the friggin bomb.
Hopefully I can keep this one going. I usually get tired of messing with them after a few weeks.

Now come on now Sunny ... you know I've never gotten mad at you. ;)

Now that I have my CPAC I'd prolly sleep through the texts anyway.

Don't listen to Cap'n. Cheryl told me he doesn't even know where the grocery stores are in his state.

I buy the groceries and do a big part of the cooking and I'm the most manly man on this board, I just chalk it up to envy since I'm packing an extra large 18" spatula.

Ain't nothing sadder than hater's hating

I've seen 'em both, and both love to eat.

If they ever HAVE to go it alone, they'll sit on the side of the curb and cry like little girls, and we'll still be fat. Just have to be patient. Life never loses!

I love sourdough bread but it has an unfortunate effect on me - I blow up like a balloon and produce more natural gas than the whole province of Alberta so I've never tried to make any. I might have to give it another go just to see what happens.

What I have got into baking lately is soda bread. Turns out kinda like a big biscuit. Many recipies and all good so far.
